lyrics
Slowly we rot the putrid flesh festers and decays, what was once so full of life is now food for the worms. Return to the earth a mistake from birth, as cartilage is torn from bone the true weakness is now shown. Cut into the soul remove and discard all parts that once made us whole, see vile attributes hidden underneath a facade and a crooked smile. Evil dwells beneath the surface watch as it strikes with precision and purpose, you can’t contain the madness nor can you kill it. Slowly losing control of self and other hideous abominations, all humanity is negated. This is what you set in motion was it worth the sacrifice, was it worth to become what you despise. Slit the throat of the traitor to our creed, pound skull fragments into the brain rendering it obsolete. Bludgeoned and maimed but still the vile stain remains descend into oblivion. This is mankinds fall from grace the incision has revealed its impure traits, as the maggots digest the flesh they suddenly recoil with disgust. This loathsome frame has become fetid with the aroma of corrupted past discretions, this is the hand we have been dealt now all cards are on the table. The repugnance that dwells beneath invasive biopsy. Cursed with malevolence discard the weak shell.

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

My favorite current band. Death, Jinjer, Suicidal Tendencies, Blue Öyster Cult, Tool, Faith No More, Jane’s Addiction, Jerry Goldsmith, and Abominable Putridity walk into a bar. There’s a huge fight; then everyone does DMT, and Afterbirth is the result. Metallurgical Fire
